Welcome to the official site of KV AFS Barnala is of the most prestigious educational institutions of Barnala of Punjab state. This center of excellence was first established in 1972. It is situated in the Air Force Campus in the vast expanse of 6 acre. It is co-educational school with Hindi and English as the medium of instructions and is affiliated to the CBSE New Delhi. This vidyalaya caters to the needs of about 891 students under the case of a dedicated team of 32 teachers and supporting administrative staff. It is a two section school from class I-XII. There is a common syllabus for all the students in classes I to X. In classes XI-XII the courses are diversified into science and humanities.
The following subject combinations are available in the vidyalaya :
Science: English(Core),Physics,Chemistry,and any two subjects out of mathematics,biology,hindi(core),Informatics Practices(on merit). Computer Science, Multimedia, web designing.
Humanities: English (Core), Economics, History, Hindi (core), Geography/Mathematics.
